No. The SledBrain app, offline 3D trail map, SAR coordinate readout, and basic rider gear classifieds are 100% free with no account required. Basic business listings on our sister directory BCOnlineStore.com are also Free Forever. Optional paid upgrades (starting at $5 for a 14-day classified pin or $12/month for a Featured Business & Map Pin Sponsor) help keep the platform free.
Are you affiliated with the ski resorts listed in the guide?
No. SledBrain.com is an independent regional weather, trail, and travel publication operated by Artistic World Graphics. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Whistler Blackcomb, Revelstoke, Big White, or any resort operator. Every resort guide page provides a direct prominent link to the resort's official website.
Does the app track my GPS location or personal data?
Never. SledBrain is engineered with a strict Zero-Trust Local Privacy Firewall. All SAR coordinates (UTM/MGRS/DMS), MIN snowpack notes, and offline map caches run 100% inside your device's browser memory (`IndexedDB` / `LocalStorage`). Your GPS coordinates are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Can I remove or update my business or resort information?
Yes — immediately and no questions asked. If you represent a business, club, or resort and want any photo, description, or listing updated or removed from SledBrain.com or BCOnlineStore.com, simply send a removal/update request here and we will process it promptly.
